Welcome To My Home Page
I was living in Spain from June 24th to July 24th, 2002. I lived with my host family in an apartment on the 4th floor in a beautiful city on the northern coast of Spain. I went with Youth For Understanding with about 25 other Americans, about 8 of us from California. Four days a week we (the american students) went to three classes in the mornings. We learned from excellent teachers about art history, grammer, and street talk in spainsh. Our teachers did not know english, so we had to talk to them in espanol! I miss Spain so much!! |

This is us girls before the bull fight all dressed up. All of us are from California except Caitlyn is from Vermont. We watched 6 bull fights from 6:30 to 9:30, i didn't really like the whole torchering the bull before they killed it, but at least they eat the bull meat after. The stadium was filled with people yelling "Ole ole!" and "Muy bien, muy bien!" Then they dragged each bull out of the stadium with donkeys. I know why they do not have these in America, because there would be so many animal rights activists rioting!

Night life
It does not get dark until about 10:30 at night, so no one sleeps!! You FIESTA and then you SIESTA!! |
